Making your own modular board for tabletop wargames or RPGs is a whole lot easier with these terrain boards.

Combining a magnetic wooden frame with precision cut, high density foam leaves you with the fun part of adding buildings and landscape to the surface. The 4 board sections give you lots of scope for changing your terrain layout. Get another single board to add even more options.
The boards are available in two versions. Classic Kill Team / Warcry board size of 760mm x 560mm (individual board 380mm x 280mm) and Kill Team: Gallowdark sized board of 704mm x 608mm (individual board 352mm x 304mm). Both versions are 26mm in height.
The XPS foam is an excellent surface for modelling on. It can be cut and engraved easily with basic tools. It takes water-based acrylic paints very well and can be sprayed with a rattle can providing you seal it first with brushed-on varnish or PVA glue.
The boards have been designed with a small cavity underneath the foam. This allows wires or batteries for electronics to be easily hidden under the board. It also means the foam can be cut-through and then a sheet (wood, styrene, foamed PVC) added underneath making it easy to create trenches, basements, rivers or canals.
